7th Ward Commissioner Candidate - Leslie Flick

Leslie Flick is the Director of Business Development for a boutique firm in Wayne, PA specializing in cost recovery services. Along with her professional experience, Leslie has enjoyed many years volunteering at St. Katharine of Siena School in Wayne. Leslie has served as St Katharine’s Athletic Director, coaching basketball there for several years. She currently serves on their Board of Limited Jurisdiction and is also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas of Villanova Parrish.

 

Leslie earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Marketing and Sports Administration from Temple University in 1993. Leslie and her husband, Bill, live in Rosemont where they have raised their four children. She can also be seen walking their 90-pound yellow lab, Pete, throughout the neighborhood on any given day.

 

Leslie has been a proud Radnor resident for the past 25 years and is currently a Committeewoman in 7-1. She believes in government transparency, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and bi-partisan representation and looks forward to serving the diverse Radnor community.

Radnor Board of Commissioners

Commissioner Jake Abel, Ward 6

Commissioner Abel was elected Ward 6 Commissioner in November 2016. Abel began his career as a Foreign Policy assistant with the Office of the Speaker in Washington, DC. He later became a Professional Staff Member with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) where he conducted oversight of counter-terrorism programs and the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis. Jake then served as an Intelligence Officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency where he analyzed and briefed senior government officials on global terrorism threats. He has lived in Radnor since 2011 with his wife and four sons.
