When the community desperately needed leadership, Nagle attended Ahr’s sentencing hearing and supported him, Morgan said. Nagle was quoted as saying, “I just think he’s been treated so unfairly.” A federal judge sentenced Ahr, who had pleaded guilty to one count each of receiving, possession and distribution of child pornography to 151 months in prison, nearly 13 years, required to pay $43,000 in restitution, register under Megan's Law and be on parole for 10 years after his release.
